The Project Supervisor Construction Stage is appointed by the client before construction work begins and remains in position until all construction work on the project is completed. They must be competent, have the working knowledge and resources needed to bring the project to a safe and successful completion.
How can we help?
When acting in the role of PSCS / H&C Coordinator on projects Ashview Consultant’s experienced team will ensure the project is brought to completion safely. We will work closely with the PSDP on the project and develop a Construction Stage Health and Safety Plan and ensure all the requirements of the PSCS and fully met.
How do we do it ?
- Preparation of the Construction Stage Safety & Health Plan.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the project by ensuring suitable and sufficient risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work are in place for all activities.
- Ensure safe work practices are being out on site by way of regular engagement and health and safety inspections specific to the project risks.
- Ensure statutory forms for weekly inspection and thorough examination are completed.
- Completing checks on all contractors and personnel to ensure competent contractors and staff are carrying out the activities on site.
- Carryout and incident or accident investigations if required.
Ashview Consultants will ensure that all contractors are cooperating on-site and ensure that information is being provided between all, with regards to the project. Where accidents or incidents occur, Ashview will provide assistance in the coordination of reporting, in particular, if the HSA is needing to be notified. As PSCS, all aspects of this role will be dealt with using the vast company knowledge, in particular the important topic of ensuring the safety file information is prepared for the PSDP and handed over at the end of the project.
